Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has offered to join Ruben Amorim coaching staff at Old Trafford to help address https://ufabet999.app the club’s defensive problems.

Manchester United have continued to struggle in defence since Erik ten Hag took over and continued into the Ruben Amorim era, with the Red Devils keeping just one clean sheet in the first nine games the Portuguese coach took charge of.

Jaap Stam recently, expressing his disappointment that the club never approached him about taking on a coaching role after he decided to hang up his boots in 2007.

Former Manchester United defender is confident his experience and coaching skills could help the Red Devils return to winning trophies if Ruben Amorim brings him into the team’s coaching staff.

“I would love to be a coach at Manchester United but they never pick up the phone! I think everyone involved in the club would love to come back and help the team,” Jaap Stam said .

“I’ve been a manager before and I’ve a coach before, so it would be great to help them in any capacity.”

“I’m always open to talks because I want to see the club win trophies again and maybe I can help with the defensive side of things. But with the manager, there’s a lot of new staff coming in so they have a lot of options. But you never know.”
